Talk to us

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card. Patient payments carry a 2% platform fee; Stripe's own processing fees are separate and charged by Stripe.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. The Terms give 30 days' notice before any change to a subscription price or the platform fee rate.

Every plan

What is in every plan?

The core product is the same on all three. Higher plans raise the limits and add retention tools, then the native app.

Higher plans also raise your admin seats and monthly email allowance. If a feature shows an upgrade prompt in your dashboard, it is on a higher plan; upgrading from the Billing page raises your limits immediately.

Fees

How do the fees work?

There are three separate charges, and two of them are not ours. Your subscription is what you pay us each month. The platform fee is a small percentage of each patient payment. Stripe's processing fees are Stripe's, set and charged by Stripe under your own Stripe agreement.

The subscription

A flat monthly amount for your plan: $199, $449 or $1,499. It is billed to the card on file, renews monthly until you cancel, and the current price is shown on the Billing page at checkout. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.

The 2% platform fee

From the Terms of Service: "In addition to the subscription, we charge a platform fee on each payment your patients make through the Platform [...]. The standard rate is 2% of the payment amount. A different rate applies only if we have agreed one with you in writing. The fee is collected automatically by Stripe from each payment before the remainder settles to your account, and it appears on your Stripe transaction records as an application fee." If you refund a payment through the portal, the platform fee on that payment is returned to you as well.

Stripe's processing fees

Patients pay with a card, Stripe processes the charge, and the money settles to your own connected Stripe account. You are the merchant of record. Stripe's processing fees are separate from anything we charge, are set by Stripe, and are governed by your agreement with Stripe. We never hold your funds.

The Signature launch fee

Signature carries a one-time $2,500 launch fee on top of the $1,499 a month. It covers the native iOS and Android app: built under your brand, published under your own developer accounts, with builds, store review and updates handled by us. It is charged once, as soon as payment details are added, even during the trial, and never again.

Taxes

Our fees exclude taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes on your subscription, and for all taxes on your own sales to patients.

If the price changes

We may change a subscription price or the platform fee rate on at least 30 days' notice, by email to the account owner and a notice in your dashboard. A change takes effect at your first renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before then if you do not agree.

Worked example

What would a clinic with 120 patients pay?

Round numbers to show the arithmetic, not a forecast: 120 patients, each placing one $300 order a month through the portal. Your own figures depend on your prices and how many patients order.

$36,000

in patient payments a month (120 × $300), settled to your own Stripe account

$720

platform fee a month (2% of $36,000), taken by Stripe from each payment

$1,169

a month to us on Growth ($449 subscription + $720 platform fee)

Line by line

The same example on each plan

120 patients is within every plan's limit, so the choice comes down to catalog size and features. Swipe sideways to see all three plans.

Stripe's processing fees are not in these totals: Stripe sets them and charges them on each payment under your own Stripe agreement. Nothing here is a revenue projection.

Billing questions

What clinics ask about billing

How does the free trial work?

New clinics start on a 14-day free trial with the Growth features unlocked (API access excepted) at Starter limits, so you can set everything up and test it before you decide. The Billing page shows how many days remain. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, with one exception: the Signature launch fee is charged as soon as a card is added.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Sign up without a card and add a payment method whenever you are ready. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not billed. If the trial ends with no card on file, the portal pauses with your patients, products and settings intact until the owner adds a card.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from Manage billing on the Billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops; the Billing page shows the end date. You can reactivate before that date from the same place.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. Change plans from the Billing page or the Stripe billing portal. When you upgrade, your limits increase immediately. A switch part way through a month is prorated onto your next invoice.

Where do I find my invoices?

Click Manage billing to open the secure Stripe billing portal. There you can download invoices, update your card, change plans and cancel.

Who on my team can see billing?

Only the clinic owner. Admins run the clinic (patients, orders, products, forms, marketing, integrations, settings) but cannot view or change the subscription. Front-desk logins see Patients and Orders only.

Is my patients' money mixed up with my subscription?

No. They are two different Stripe relationships. Patient payments are captured on your own connected Stripe account and paid out to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Billing is only your subscription to us. If a subscription payment fails, your plan shows "Payment past due" and you get a short grace period to update the card; your patients' ability to pay you is unaffected.

What is the $2,500 launch fee?

It applies to Signature only. It is a one-time charge that covers building your native iOS and Android app, publishing it under your developer accounts, and handling store review and updates. It is charged as soon as payment details are added, even during the trial, and is shown at signup.

Start on any plan. Decide in 14 days.
